A 16-year-old boy of Basanga area in chief Musungwa's chiefdom in
Itezhi-tezhi has committed suicide after seeing the nakedness of his
sister-in-law.
Both police sources and the boy's uncle, Presley Hoyo, confirmed the
death of Fredrick Shinjoma who hanged himself to a tree in a bush near
his village on Saturday.

Hoyo explained that last week, when a hen belonging to Shinjoma's
brother laid an egg in his [Shinjoma's] house, Shinjoma took it to his
brother's house at night but his sister-in-law came out of the house
naked.

He said Shinjoma was greatly shocked and traumatised by his sister-in-
law's behaviour which made him to report the incidence to his brother
[the husband] the following morning.

"It was on Friday when a hen laid an egg in Shinjoma's house, so at
night he went to his brother's house to report of the hen which had
laid an egg in his house. When he knocked at the door, the sister-in-
law came out without any clothes. This shocked Shinjoma who reported
the matter to his brother the following morning after he came back
from where he had gone," he said.

Hoyo said when Shinjoma reported the matter to his brother, he was
very angry and reprimanded his wife, Enick Kachoba, who even attempted
to commit suicide.

"Shinjoma's brother was very angry at his wife who adamantly denied
having shown her nakedness to Shinjoma. Furious at her husband's
castigation, she went into the bush with a baby on her back and as she
was about to hang herself, she was apprehended by villagers who were
running after her," he said.

Hoyo narrated that the news of an attempted suicide by Enick Kachoba
shocked Shinjoma.

He said Shinjoma also started asking for chemicals used in the deep
tank with intent to kill himself but could not find them.

Hoyo said when he could not find the chemicals, Shinjoma disappeared
from the village and was only discovered dead by chief Musungwa's
retainer hanging from a tree in the bush near the village.

Crazy. And I thought it's only the Americans who have this
problem with nakedness. Here in Munich, Germany, people run
around naked in the city parks in summer.

There was one incident, already some time ago, when a group of
naked girls entered a tram (streetcar). That went a little too
far---the driver refused to drive and demanded that they exit,
which they eventually did. I must admit, had I been the driver,
I would probably not have cared. There is a German law about not
causing public "Ärgernis", something like not making people
angry.

But what do they have to do with the boy to make him hang
himself, just because he saw a human being? Perhaps he was a bit
crazy too.

I suspect that this 'sister-in-law' is like many other booga-booga
'Frican women -- saggy-titted, gross-bellied, hangy-assed, grotesque,
sub-human-appearing bags.

Hardly the stuff of She's probably enough to cause suicide ... yeah, I'd think.
