JJ,
BTW, my newsserver isnt posting properly, so could you post the
following in
response to Harold's post for me?
~~~~~
"Harol?",
First, be sure there is no USB flashdrive plugged in. Some older BIOSes
get
so baffled by them that they can't even describe the problem to you.
They
try to boot the flashdrive before even determining there is a
flashdrive
plugged in. The result is akin to chaos and confusion.
After that, you are on the right track in booting with only the primary
drive installed. Be sure it is plugged properly (probably Cable
Select). A
drive pugged otherwise will often work alone on a Cable Select system,
but
with two, if either is misplugged, its likely that neither will work.
If that doesn't work, let me know the failure symptoms.
